The Compasses is an ideal location for accessing the New Forest, and its accommdation was excellent for my pet dog with the adjacent playing field to have an early morning walk before setting off on our travels, and again at night after a long day out! The Compasses itself offers excellent food and has a very friendly atmosphere with pets allowed in the public bar.
